Prison Notary Services

If you have a family member that needs notary services, we're here to help. The process is very different than that with the general public. We work with all Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Los Angeles County jails. California and Federal prisons require different procedures, please inquire before booking.

Booking Notes

• Visiting will be BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. No same day, walk-in appointments accepted.

• In general, visiting will only be allowed, from  Friday through Monday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for most OC jail. We will verify before appointment is confirmed.

• Bookings will need 24 hours advance notice from time of appointment, per prison rules

• A maximum of two adults and two minors will be permitted at one time at OC jails. This will include the notary.

• We highly recommend minors not accompany the appointment. We will can not accompany a minor without the guardian present. 

• Accompanying visitors who have been released from jail within the preceding sixty (60) days are ineligible to visit. However, visits between blood relatives (i.e., mother, father, sister or brother) or spouse may be allowed even though the visitor was released from our custody within the last sixty (60) days, with Watch Commander approval

• We require an in advance of notary appointment, an Inmate booking number, please verify with OC Sheriff inmate information system or LA Prison Search

• Please inform your inmate of the appointment and its purpose so they are equally informed and are prepared for the notary signing. 

• Due to the unpredictability of the appointment, an $80 deposit must be placed prior with the booking. This will, of course, apply to the total notary fee.
